Betty Ng
Betty Ng is the founder and CEO of Inspiring Diversity, LLC (“iD”), which provides organizations, educators, and families with FASST (Frameworks, Assessments, Systems, Storytelling, and Training) solutions to build inclusive and high-performing culture. She is also a proud co-founder of TAIQTM, which empowers and connects people globally to Think, Act, and Interact inclusively.
Betty is a #1 bestselling author, tech and media entrepreneur, trainer, professional speaker, consultant, and thought leader. She co-authored “PO-LING POWER: Propelling Yourself and Others to Success” with her mother (Po-Ling). She and her children have also launched the bestselling and award-winning Persevering Penguins and Pals children’s book series, to serve as guidance tools for social emotional learning grounded in diversity and inclusion. She is a regular contributor to Thrive Global and has appeared in top-tier publications including Forbes, Bustle, Ladders, and Fairygodboss. She has also been featured on Fox 5 Good Day Street Talk.
Prior to founding iD in 2016, Betty was a Senior Vice President of Corporate Development with twenty years of corporate and financial services experience at organizations including Moody’s, Citigroup, American Express, and Arthur Andersen. Betty holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a B.A. in Economics with honors from Stanford University, and an executive education certification for the Advanced Leadership Program for Asian-American Executives from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She also is a California Certified Public Accountant (Inactive Status) and an Advanced Certified Open Water Diver. In her spare time, Betty enjoys traveling the world with her husband (Darin) and two young children (Moorea and Jasper).

Marlon Young
Marlon Young is a co-founder of TAIQ, which empowers people globally to Think, Act and Interact inclusively. Prior to TAIQ, Marlon was the CEO and Regional Head for HSBC Global Private Bank–Americas for over a decade. During his tenure at HSBC he developed, executed and led strategies that support the bank’s diversity and inclusion strategy. He focused on change efforts for the advancement of top performing talent inclusive of women, people of color and LGBTQ’s in an equity work culture.
Marlon is a highly skilled influencer who can collaborate with others to inspire and support a diversity and inclusion strategy through every part of a company. He is relied upon to create and foster an open and inclusive environment and has the ability to provide quality advice, guidance and support on equality and diversity issues.
Mr. Young has received numerous awards due to his dedication and volunteer work including the President’s Volunteer Service Award. He is frequently invited to speak on diversity and leadership by not-for-profit institutions; including, the Asia Society, the International Leadership Foundation, Out on the Street and Ascend.
Mr. Young earned his M.B.A. from the Asian Institute of Management in The Philippines and his B.S. in education from the University of South Dakota.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Chris Thomas
Chris believes in innovation via technology and has led many projects throughout his career transforming businesses to scale and exploit new technologies. Chris is a Machine Learning and Intelligence expert with strong business and finance fundamentals. Focused on business acceleration and emerging technologies. Experience building large scale web sites across multiple distribution channels. Long history of experience in the field of cyber security. Agile development advocate.
Prior to TAIQ, Chris was the Managing Director and CTO of the Moody’s Analytics Accelerator. As the head of technology for the Accelerator, Chris was responsible for leading the platform and culture of technology at Moody’s. Building new products and seeking new revenue opportunities in the white space. From 2008 to 2018, Chris led the moodys.com product development team, during his tenure the business grew from $250M to $800M. Chris also spent time in the research division, where he built the Expected Default Frequency (EDF) analytic engine.
Prior to Moody’s, Chris was a manager in Ernst and Young’s Security Audit practice, he led a team that provided solutions to Fortune 500 firms in the area of information security and risk. Prior to E&Y, he was a consultant for IBM’s Global Services division, providing strategic direction for both the Banking and Insurance sectors.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Mathematics with distinction, from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Chris is also a certified AWS developer.
