Inspiring Diversity, LLC (“our,” “us,” “we”) collects, stores, and processes the information we collect from users of our Services. We take your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy describes our collection and protection of the information you provide to us during visits to www.taiqworld.com, when you participate in our surveys, and when you take our courses (the "Services").

1. Summary.

Our Privacy Policy is provided to you to explain and describe to you how we collect, use, share, and disclose information collected via our Services. The following bullets provide a brief summary of some of the central features of our privacy practices, but you are encouraged to read the entirety of our Privacy Policy to gain a complete understanding of our privacy practices.

  • We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data in three principal ways, including information that you give to us, information that we collect from your use of our Service, and information obtained from third parties.

  • We may share your Personal Data with third parties in certain circumstances, including as necessary to provide you with our Services or certain aspects thereof, or in our discretion to third parties for our or their own purposes. You can learn more about our information sharing practices below, by reviewing the “Purpose for Collection and Using Personal Information” section below.

  • You under certain circumstances, request deletion, request a copy, request rectification, restrict or object processing, and to request a transfer of your data collected by contacting us at privacycompliance@taiqworld.com.

  • While we cannot guarantee, that your information will remain secure, we do use commercially reasonable efforts to secure your information.

  • Our Services are not directed to people under 18.

 

2. Consent. 

By using our Services, you provide us with consent to collect personal information directly from you or by our tracking technologies, such as cookies. You also consent to us using such personally identifiable information as per this policy. We may send physical and digital communications to you at the addresses given by you. This website is not intended for anyone under 18 years old.

 

By accessing our Services, you accept all the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. As such, you should read this Privacy Policy in its entirety and return to it periodically to review any changes made. 

 

3. Information Collected.

 

Types of Data We Collect

Personal Data. “Personal Data” is data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, geo-location data, device identifier as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. “Anonymous Data” is data that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not, by itself, permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data.

Profile. We may collect Personal Data from you, such as your photo, display name, status, relationship status, ethnicity, age or date of birth, geo-location data, email address, password for our services, and any other information you voluntarily add to your profile on the our website or is generated by your use of our services (“Profile Information”).

Account Information. We may require you to provide an email address and password to use all features of our services (“Account Information”).  You may change the email address and password associated with the account according to the methods provided by our services.

Feedback/Support. If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail (e.g., for support), we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply. If you contact us for support, we may also collect and retain certain technical diagnostic data, e.g., your phone model.

Mailing List. If you provide us your email address for inclusion in our mailing lists, we will collect your email address. We may email you news,  services updates, the latest information on services, and third-party offers that apply to you. You may opt out of such emails at the time of registration, or you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive. You may not opt out of emails related to the operation of our services as this may be necessary for the normal operation of our services.

Conferences. If you attend a Virtual or In-Person Conference hosted by us or one of our partners, you provide consent to share your email and registration information to our Conference Partners, Co-Hosts and Event Presenters. 

Courses.  If you participate in Courses on or through our Services you will be asked to provide us with certain information necessary to conduct the Course. This information may include, among other things, your name and email address.

If you participate in a Course, we may collect certain user-generated content, such as assignments you submit, graded assignments, and feedback. We also collect course data, such as responses to in-video quizzes, standalone quizzes, exams, and surveys. You should not include any Personal Data or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, on assignments, exams, or surveys, except for information required to participate in or submit such assignments, exams, or surveys.

Surveys. When you participate in one of our surveys (which may be provided by a third-party service provider), we may collect additional information that you provide through the survey. If the survey is provided by our third-party service provider, such service provider’s privacy policy applies to their collection, use and disclosure of your information. Please review their privacy policy which will be posted in connection with the survey.

Purchases. If you purchase a service from us, we (or our third-party service provider) will collect all information necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, credit card information, billing information, address, telephone number, and email address. If we use a third-party service provider, the service provider may provide certain information back to us (e.g., your name, phone number, partial credit card number, and email address). We do not store or process credit card information directly.  

Partner Promotion. We may collect information you voluntarily provide when you enter into a Partner Promotion, as described below in the “Data Sharing” section.

Device Information. We will collect an ID that is unique to the device on which you use our website (“Device ID” and “Device”, respectively). We may store your Device ID and/or your hashed Device ID with other information we collect about you, including your Profile Information and your instant message information. We will collect certain software and hardware information about your Device.

Distance Information. When you use our website, we will collect your location to determine your distance from other users (“Distance Information”) through the GPS, Wi-Fi, and/or cellular technology in your Device (e.g., iPhone, BlackBerry, iPad, iPod Touch or Android device). Your last known location is stored on our servers for the purpose of calculating Distance Information between you and other users.

Log Files. To make our services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) or analytic partners may collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. We also use cookies and URL information to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and the information for which you searched and which you viewed. 

Other. We may also collect Personal Data at other points on our website that state that Personal Data is being collected. We will retain Profile Information and your posts to the Website or on our servers, for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

 

Information We Collect Directly From You

The information we collect from you depends on how you use our Services. For all users, we may collect information related to your use of the Service, including information you provide to us if you communicate with us (for example by sending us comments or questions).

To sign up for our newsletter or blog, you must provide your name and email address. If you wish to contact us about our Services, you must provide your name, email address, and phone number, preferred contact method, and the types of services you are looking for. Depending on the types of services you purchase, we will also contract with a third party to process your billing information, such as your credit card number.

Emails, Including Marketing, Special Offers, & Service Updates: If you have provided your email address to us, we will occasionally send you emails about various services that we feel may be of interest to you and/or about Service features and changes that we feel you'll want to know about. You can choose not to receive email from us at any time (see opt out of emails below).

Opting Out Of Email Communications: You can choose not to receive emails from us at any time by simply sending an email, including your name and email address, to privacycompliance@taiqworld.com 

Personal Data Accuracy and Completeness: we endeavor to maintain Personal Data accurately and relies on its customers, suppliers, and other third persons who give us Personal Data, to ensure that the Personal Data they provide to us is complete and accurate, and to notify us of updates and changes to Personal Data as required from time to time.

Cookies and Automatically Collected Data

As is common practice with almost all digital based professional Services, www.taiqworld.com uses cookies, which are tiny files that are downloaded to your computer, to improve your experience. Please view our Cookie Policy (www.taiqworld.com/cookiepolicy) which describes what information cookies automatically gather, how we use it and why we sometimes need to store these cookies. We will also share how you can prevent these cookies from being stored, but this may downgrade or “break” certain elements of the site’s functionality.

There may be other tracking technologies now and later devised and used by us in connection with the Services. Further, third parties may use tracking technologies with our Services. We do not control those tracking technologies, and we are not responsible for them. However, you consent to potentially encounter third party tracking technologies in connection with your use of the Services and accept that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the tracking technologies or practices of such third parties. In such cases, you must check with the third-party to confirm how your information is collected and used.

Categories of Personal Data We Collect Automatically

Aside from information you directly input, we also collect data automatically, as defined in our Cookie Policy. The types of data collected automatically include:

  • Identifiers - Your device parameters such as the type of device you are using, the date and time of you accessed the Services, your browser type, IP address and other information related to how your device is interacting with our Services; and the location of the device you are using to access our Services.

  • Functional – enables enhanced functionality, such as for videos and live chat. If you do not allow these, then some or all of these functions may not work properly.

  • Analytics – Provide statistical information on usage of our Services, e.g., web analytics so we can improve the Services over time.

  • Targeting; Advertising – Used to create profiles or personalize content to enhance your shopping experience.

  • Essential – Essential for any requested Services to work, but do not perform any additional or secondary function.

4. Your Right to Access Opt-Out and Withdrawal

We respect your privacy considerations and hence provides an option for you to not provide the personally identifiable information or information sought to be collected.  You have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data:

The right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you. 

The right to withdraw your consent, which was earlier given to us, 

The right to request deletion of your personal information that we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions, and to have such personal information deleted, except where necessary that we maintain such personal information in order to:

Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by the consumer, or reasonably anticipated within the context of a business’s ongoing business relationship with the consumer, or otherwise perform a contract between the business and the consumer.

Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity.

Debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.

Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law.

Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with the expectations of the consumer based on the consumer’s relationship with the business.

The right to request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about you in the prior 12 months.

The right against discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. Unless permitted, we will not:

Deny you goods or services.

Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.

Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.

Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Data, under certain conditions.

The right to object processing – You have the right to object our processing of your Personal Data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

5. Purposes for Collecting and Using Personal Information 

Generally, we may use the mentioned categories of personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide our Services to you.

  • To communicate with you about your use of our Services, to respond to your inquiries, and for other customer service purposes.

  • To tailor the content and information that we may send or display to you, to offer location customization, and personalized help and instructions, and to otherwise personalize your experiences while using the Site.

  • To send you email marketing about our services.

  • To send you news and newsletters.

  • To send you email marketing about services of our affiliated entities.

  • To assist us in advertising on third-party websites, mobile apps, and other online services, and to evaluate the success of our adverting campaigns through third-party channels (including our online targeted advertising and offline promotional campaigns).

  • To better understand how users access and use our Site, both on an aggregated and individualized basis. For example, we will evaluate which features of our Site are more (or least) used by users, and we will use this information.

  • To conduct internal analysis of outreach and marketing efforts, as well as for market research or member satisfaction purposes.

  • To conduct industry research and to perform statistical analyses that will enable us to build a higher quality business and develop related products and services

  • To comply with legal obligations, as part of our general business operations, and for other business administration purposes.

  • Where we believe necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person or violations of our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.

We will only use your Personal Data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your Personal Data in the following circumstances:

  • When we need to perform the contracy we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

  • When we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

  • When it is in our legitimate interests, including our commercial interests in operating our customer facing platform. We make sure that we consider and balance any potential negative impact on you and your rights before we process your Personal Data.

  • We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data by excluding information (such as your name) that make the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance our Services. We reserve the right to use Anonymous data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties in its sole discretion.

  • We may share your hashed Device ID, Profile Information, Distance Information and demographic information with our advertising and analytics partners.

  • We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose.  When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract. 

6.  Confidentiality and Security

Personal Data in our custody or control is protected by appropriate technology, policies and procedures designed to prevent unauthorized use, access, disclosure, modification, copying or destruction and to maintain the integrity, availability and privacy of Personal Data. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Services, your information is protected both online and offline.

We will only process Personal Data fairly and lawfully after receiving consent of the information provider and will not use Personal Data in our possession for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which we receive the Personal Data. We may retain your personally identifiable information as long as there is a business requirement, or if otherwise required under applicable laws.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is entirely secure, however. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7.  Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain links to third party websites including social media sites, whose information practices may be different from ours. You should read such third party websites privacy notices. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. 

We maintain collaborative relationships with vendors, subcontractors, strategic partners, and others who assist us and our customers. From time to time we may transfer Personal Data to these parties to enable them to work with us, but we require that they maintain the privacy of Personal Data in a manner satisfactory to us and consistent with applicable law.

 

We will share some of the information we collect from you with vendors and other service providers who work with us to support the internal operations of our Services.

As a general rule, we do not sell any information we collect from you. We will not disclose any of your Personal Information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under circumstances described in this Policy. We reserve the right to disclose your information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to: (i) take precautions against liability, (ii) protect ourselves or others from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses or activity, (iii) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (iv) protect the security or integrity of our Services, or (v) protect our property or other legal rights (including, but not limited to, enforcement of our agreements), or the rights, property, or safety of others.

Our third-party ad tracking and analytics company never sends emails, notifications, or other communications to our end users. Certain third-party ad tracking and analytics allows you to opt out third-party tracking and analytics.

The categories of third parties we share personal information with include:

  • Service providers - We may rely on service providers to support or provide some of our Services. We may also rely on third party service providers to perform certain operations for us in connection with your use of our Services, such as communications and hosting services, network security, technical and customer support, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance testing, payment processing, our own marketing of the Service, and other functions. We may share information from or about you with these third-party providers so that they can perform their services or complete your requests. These third-party providers may share information with us that they obtain from or about you in connection with providing their services or completing your requests. Third party providers may also share this information with their subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control. Some of our web pages utilize framing techniques to serve content to you from our third-party providers, while preserving the look and feel of the Service. In such cases, please note that the information you provide is being provided to the third party.

  • Advertisers, Social media companies, and Internet cookie information recipients, like Google. We may use Google Analytics and Facebook pixels to collect first-party audience data such as age, gender, and interests to better understand the behavior of our customers and work with companies that collect information about your online activities to provide advertising targeted to suit your interests and preferences. For example, you may see certain ads in or on other websites because we contract with Google and Facebook to target our ads based on information we or they have collected, including information that was collected through automated means (such as cookies). Our advertising partners also use automated technologies to collect information when you click on our ads, which helps track and manage the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. These companies also use your basic information to build a profile based on your personal information, such as age and interests, and use it to advertise to others with similar interests to you. Partner Promotion. We may disclose information you voluntarily provide when you enter into a Partner Promotion, as described below. We may offer contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions with our third-party partners from time to time (“Partner Promotion”). If additional or different privacy practices govern a Partner Promotion, then we will present you the additional or different terms prior to your entering the Partner Promotion, and such terms will apply to how we collect, use and disclose the information you provide through the Partner Promotion.

Affiliates and Acquisitions. We may share some or all of your Personal Data with our parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”) in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires our company, business, or our assets, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Other Disclosures. Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Data (as described below), we may disclose Personal Data in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process, or to comply with relevant laws; to establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims; if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, violation of our policies, or as otherwise required by law.
